Terms of use.
1. Introduction and acceptance
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of tafco.in and any TAFCO app, and your purchase of TAFCO products and services (together, the "Services"). The Services are provided by Plavah Climate Technologies Pvt Ltd, trading as TAFCO ("TAFCO", "we", "us", "our"), C 902, Titanium Business Park, Nr Makarba Railway Crossing, Ahmedabad 380051, Gujarat, India.
By using the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you buy on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
TAFCO is a private company. It is not affiliated with any government air quality body.
2. Products, orders and payment
Product information. We try to show products, specifications and images accurately. Actual colours and finishes may vary slightly. Performance figures such as CADR are measured under standard test conditions and may differ with room size, layout and usage.
Pricing. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include GST unless stated otherwise. Prices and offers may change without notice. If a product is listed at a wrong price due to an error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid.
Orders. An order is confirmed only when we send an order confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order for reasons such as stock unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud or an unserviceable delivery address.
Payment. Payments are processed by third party payment gateways under their own terms. TAFCO does not store your card, UPI or bank details. Business (B2B) orders, site projects and bulk orders may follow separate quotes, payment terms and agreements.
Discount codes. Coupon and offer codes are valid only for the stated period and conditions, cannot be exchanged for cash and may be withdrawn at any time.
3. Delivery, warranty, returns and refunds
Delivery. We deliver to serviceable PIN codes in India. Delivery timelines shown are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, holidays or events outside our control. Risk in the product passes to you on delivery.
Installation. Where installation or a site survey is included, our team or authorised partner will schedule it with you. You must provide safe access and a suitable power supply.
Warranty. TAFCO products carry a limited warranty of 1 year from the date of invoice against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover:
- Filters and other consumables, which need periodic replacement
- Damage from misuse, accidents, liquids, power surges or improper installation
- Repairs or modifications by anyone other than TAFCO or its authorised partners
- Use of non TAFCO replacement filters or parts
- Normal wear and tear and cosmetic damage
Damaged or defective on arrival. Record an unboxing video and photos at delivery. Report any damage or defect within 48 hours of delivery to airshel@tafco.in or +91 9090 4000 16 with your order number and the proof.
Returns and refunds. We review each claim based on the proof shared. If approved, we will repair, replace or refund the product at our discretion. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method within 7 to 10 working days after we receive the returned product. Products that are used, damaged by the customer, or missing parts or packaging are not eligible for return. Change of mind returns are not accepted once the product is installed or the seal is opened.
Cancellations. You may cancel an order before it is shipped for a full refund. Once shipped, the returns policy above applies.
4. Use of the website and app
Accounts. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Acceptable use. You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
- Copy, scrape, reverse engineer or resell any part of the Services
- Upload viruses or attempt to break our security
- Post false, misleading or abusive reviews or content
Air quality data. Air quality readings shown by TAFCO devices, the website or any app are for general information. They depend on sensor placement, calibration and conditions, and may not match readings from other monitors or government stations. They are not medical advice. Please consult a doctor for health concerns.
Intellectual property. The TAFCO name, logo, AirSHEL name, website content, designs, images and software belong to Plavah Climate Technologies Pvt Ltd or its licensors. You may not use them without our written permission.
User content. If you share reviews, photos or feedback with us, you allow TAFCO to use them, without payment, to improve and promote our products. We will not share your personal details with them without consent.
Third party links. Links to other websites are for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
5. Liability, termination and legal
Limitation of liability. To the extent allowed by law, TAFCO is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the Services or products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service concerned. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Indemnity. You agree to indemnify TAFCO against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.
Force majeure. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, supply disruptions or government action.
Termination. We may suspend or end your access to the Services if you breach these Terms. Sections that by nature should survive, such as liability and intellectual property, continue after termination.
Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be on this page with its effective date. Continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
